Is the proud owner of the worst memory in the sporting world. He has seen most of the UFC events, but having the worst memory in sports, he can't tell you a thing about them, and this will absolutely show when you hear him on the radio..... However, our producer does remember watching the first UFC and thinking that its one of the coolest things he's ever seen. A little Brazilian making these monsters tap. Fast forward and he is now the webmaster and one of the technical minds behind the No Holds Barred Show.

Born and raised in Southeast Missouri, I currently reside in the wonderful state of Arkansas with my beautiful wife Suzy and my handsome son Logan. I am an Engineer by day and a family man by night. Living in Arkansas affords me the opportunity to spend a lot of time in the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, golfing and kayaking are just a few of the things I love to do.

From as far back as I can remember, my biggest sports love has been The Dallas Cowboys, but that all changed November 12, 1993. That’s when the UFC held their first show in Denver, Colorado and from that point forward, I’ve been hooked. Since then, I’ve constantly tried to decide which one I love more; mma or The Dallas Cowboys. I remember my girlfriend (now my wife) and me rushing to the video store to get those first few shows and we immediately became fans for life. What’s better than watching two people in a human chess match where the ultimate result could be broken bones, knockouts, or submissions?

While traveling home from Missouri one Sunday night several years ago, I ran across this crazy mma show called The No-Holds Barred Show on Sirius. I was immediately drawn in by the lack of formality and their surprising knowledge of the sport. It truly was a couple of guys having a good time on the radio. When their existing staff writer resigned, the call went out to anyone who wanted to try their hand at writing. I thought it sounded interesting so I sent in my request and the rest is history. I’ve been at it now for a few years and look forward to many more.

Hey Fight Fans!

My name is Kevin and I have been a mixed martial arts fan for about 15 years now. I started as many fan did by watching the early UFC tapes that I would rent from the video store. The first event I watched was Ultimate Brazil. After watching that I went out and rented UFC 1 and UFC 2 and I’ve been watching ever since. I am also a fan of Pride, and have seen a lot of the history making fights that happened under the Pride banner. I am into the lighter weight classes too when I began watching WEC. Now that UFC has introduced the lighter weight classes they have, of course, come over and now fight at UFC events. I have a great respect for the fighters and for this amazing sport. I will be giving my opinion on a variety of subjects as well as bringing you the up to date news as it becomes available. I am excited to be writing for The No Holds Barred Show. It has been a dream of mine to become a mma writer and to get the opportunity to work with the guys at The NHB show to watch and report on the sport I love is beyond great. I will be reporting on both up and coming fighters as well as the greats who have already, and continue, to carve their name into wall of the sport. Together we will watch the continued rise of this sport and I’m certain see some pretty cool stuff along the way.

I was born and raised in Arlington, Texas.  I am a huge fan of anything sports, especially those in the DFW area.  Cowboys, Rangers, Mavericks, and Stars, if they are playing in the metroplex, there is a good chance I'm either there or watching.

In my free time I play golf, softball, and love watching and talking sports.  I am also the proud owner of a three and a half year old Basset Hound named Landry (if you paid attention you'll know why I named him Landry).  I have written for several MMA sites in the past and look forward to joining the NHB team.

Favorite Fighters:

Don Frye - Frye is a good ole boy and one tough S.O.B.  Check out his fight against Yoshihiro Takayama at Pride 21 and you'll love him too.

Chael Sonnen - Say what you want about Sonnen, but he is hiilarious in interviews and can make any fight seem intriquing.  He is the best talker in the game and has the talent to back it up.

Jon Jones - A class act and the future of MMA.  Jones is a freakish athlete and a well spoken ambassador to current and future generations of fans.  Jones has the potential to go down as one of the best mixed martial artists in history.

Houston Alexander - Violent in the cage and one of the nicest guys I've ever met out of it.  I watched his come from behind win against Sokoudjou at Shark Fights 13, and despite taking a pretty good beating, was literally the last guy in the arena signing autographs.

Royce Gracie - Introduced submission fighting to the American mainstream.  Gracie amazed early UFC fans by defeating men twice his size with toughness and technique.  Gracie is a true legend of the sport.

Favorite Food:

Buffalo Wings, Fajitas

Dream Date:

Marissa Miller, Jessica Biel, Blake Lively
