Joe Rogan Talks About Judge's Monitors

Joe Rogan hit a nerve with his recent on-point comments about mma judges having a video monitor in front of them during a fight. I personally agree wholeheartedly with what Rogan is saying. We can all point to fights that were scored so obviously wrong, for whatever reason.

How about Edgar vs. Penn? or Vera vs. Couture? or Shogun Rua vs. Machida? Or how about those fights where the judge's scorecards are read and one judge (usually Cecil Peoples) will give every round to one fighter while the other two judges will see it entirely different? Is it out of ignorance of the sport, corruption, being visually impaired, not thinking leg kicks win fights, etc.?

It's pretty easy to eliminate one of those possibilities.

It happens all the time with us too, where a camera man will be in front of me or a referee will be in front of me, and I can't see what's happening, so I have to look at the monitors, and if I didn't have those monitors and I had to judge the fight just based on what I saw, you know, there's going to be some stuff I miss."
